Painted horse ranch

My friend and I hadn’t ridden horses in 10+ years and decided to go riding with rather short notice. We were able to get in same day (only two of us), the drive there was pretty, the gray barn cat greeted us at the entrance and kept me busy with pets and cuddles while we waiting. We did the 2 hour ride, it was beautiful day and pretty ride. Crossed multiple creeks that the horses enjoyed frolicking in, and the horses handled extremely well and we both felt safe and had a great time. Highly recommend, although next time we plan to do the 4 hour ride.

We drove 200 miles from New York—six people, including children—after speaking directly with the owner just three hours before our arrival. He clearly confirmed on the phone that we could come. But when we arrived, he completely denied it and refused to let us ride. His behavior was extremely disrespectful, and it felt discriminatory and hostile. I speak English fluently—there was no misunderstanding. It was clear we were not welcome because of who we are. Very disappointing experience. Avoid this place if you care about being treated with basic respect and decency.

Had an AMAZING experience. It was our first time horse back riding, 3 kids and 2 adults. Laura and Hailey were very patient instructors and made sure we were safe every step of the way. Very encouraging and made us feel very comfortable with each horse. Highly recommend!!! Kids ages 7,10,12

Had a great experience. Mohammad was our guide, and was very patient and good at giving instructions to my nephews who rode for the first time on a trail. Will definitely be planning another future visit

The staff were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made me feel safe and comfortable—especially as a beginner. The horses were well cared for and gentle, with distinct personalities that made the ride even more enjoyable. The trail we rode along offered beautiful scenery, What I loved most was the connection you begin to feel with the horse as you ride. It’s not just a physical activity—it’s about trust, communication, Whether you’re a beginner or experienced rider, I’d highly recommend trying it. It’s not just about riding—it’s about bonding, being in nature, and enjoying a break from the everyday.
