My husband and I have been taking riding lessons with Anita. She is a wonderful teacher and very enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and passion for horses. The horses are well taken care of and responsive. Overall a great experience!
Our trail ride was an absolute joy. You can tell that Anita (the owner) and Morgan (our trail guide) are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about horses. The trail was beautiful and serene. We were lucky enough to pass by a few deer on the way. My friend and I were extremely impressed with our experience, and hopefully will return soon for lessons!
We had a wonderful camp experience! We loved the focus on learning how to care for horses. Excellent camp for both new riders and returning campers.
One of the best times you'll ever have. The area is beautiful and quiet which is nice for relaxing and enjoying the weather. The horses are very well-behaved and patient with new and novice riders. I've been going here for close to two years now on and off for both lessons and trail rides. Anita is extremely patient and friendly when teaching new riders and allowing you to learn hands on when saddling and riding a horse. If ever visiting the area or even if you lived here your whole life and looking to try something new or getting back into horses, I highly recommend checking out Beech Grove Farm.
We had a trail lesson. The trail had old tires, broken pipes, and trash, and we even passed by a gutted vehicle. The owner was rude to us because we didn't 'look up' enough - she said she was joking but it was at our expense, wasn't funny, and her tone was not joking. Also, the horses do the exact same trail every day, and will just follow the guide anyway, it's a bit like the touristy horse rides, except there isn't anything touristy to see. I wouldn't go back, there are several nicer farms nearby.
