This place is a joke. We leased a blind out there for the 2016-2017 season. $6000 for the season. We killed four ducks all season (two were spoonbills), and that's the only four we even had a chance of shooting at. You'd be better off putting a blind in your own front yard than leasing a blind at this place. The ONLY blind that kills ducks out there is the landowner's blind. They destroy the ducks day in and day out and nobody else (8 other blinds) kills anything. In fact, for half of the season, the only blind that had any water you could hunt over was the landowner's blind. Our blind was left with a leaking, collapsing roof and the landowner wouldn't do anything to fix it. I wouldn't pay $1 to hunt this place again. Ask anyone that has leased out there if you don't want to take my word for it. Good luck killing a deer too, lol. We were out there all season and saw zero deer hunters with a deer.

This is a great place to relax and hunt! Keith and his wife T are wonderful, very kind people. My husband and I went on a two day hunt with our two young boys and saw plenty of deer for having kids in the stand with us. The lodging was nice and comfortable, and the cooking was delicious! We will definitely be back!

**(Continued from previous review, due to google character limits)** There is no reason to get to your blind any more than 30 minutes prior to shooting time unless you want to when you have a lease. When you are a hunting guide on your daddy's land and you have customers paying to hunt by the day, of course you should get there early and make sure everything is set. That's called customer service. When you have lessees you also owe them some customer service - like repairing their blind when the roof is falling in and making sure you do the best you can to ensure they have water whenever you, the landowner's son, does. There's ways to develop the land to make water go to certain places and stay there, FYI. You just have to care. As the landowner, you shouldn't be hunting if none of your lessees (not "leasers" by the way) can hunt. But there you were, killing ducks everyday and not once did you offer anyone leasing one of the other blinds a chance to hunt the only blind with water. You just kept on hunting and not caring. 6 inches of water doesn't count as water either, so I'm sorry, but we didn't have water the first split. We parked our Polaris on the road in between your field and ours, under trees and cover and about 125 yards from our blind. That puts it about 200 yards from your blind - the one you so aptly call the "Destroyer." So it's more than a little funny that you claim it impacted our blind but not yours. It was right in between the two blinds. I'll refer you to my earlier point that location is key to success when duck hunting. It has much less to do with blind brushing or jerk rigs, lol. As for how much we hunted, we hunted about 20 days this past season. I live in Texas, yes, but my entire family lives in CENLA, so it's not hard to get over there to hunt, especially when I've paid $6000 for a lease. We hunted about 12 days of the first split. It got old real quick, working our tails off and not even getting a chance to shoot at birds, while you killed them by the dozens right in front of our eyes. Especially when your landowner has obviously saved the best blind for himself and his guide service and couldn't care less about his other customers. So no, we didn't hunt much after the first few days of the second-split. We went and hunted other places we could actually hunt. And as to your claim that I told you when we first came to discuss a lease, that I didn't kill any ducks at my lease for the 2015-2016 season, you are absolutely right that I didn't kill any ducks that season. I didn't even hunt, lol. I was recovering from surgery. I didn't go hunting once that season, nor did I have a lease. Nice try though. About your $400 claim. I already paid the $400 ("$100 per person for 18-19 November" according to your dad's text - I still have the text) that was agreed on prior to using your lodging facilities for myself and three others; one was also a lessee at your "resort." It was supposedly a "deal" since I was a lessee already. Then, after that weekend, your dad tried to tell me that what he really meant was $100 per person, per night. Seriously? Your own website says $75 per person, per night (photo attached) and you want to charge me more than that? The gourmet meal we were served the first night was deer stew, and we ate with about 15 of your relatives because you were having a get-together with them anyway, so you just had us eat what you had already prepared for them. So no, I don't owe your daddy any more money. I've paid the agreed-upon amount. You say I need to go hunt with someone more experienced and not lease. I would respond that you and your dad should learn how to manage land for hunting and how to treat customers. FYI, having a blanket "don't shoot anything below an 8-point" rule isn't any way to manage a deer population. I'll let you and google figure out why. The other folks we've spoken to will back up my sentiments. Maybe that's why you've lost two of your four lessees this season...so far.

Nice place to hunt they have plenty of Deer Its nice to have a place like this u can go and hunt. And dont have to pay an arm and leg. Mr. Kieth is so nice you really cant ask for much better.
