Salt Plains Outfitters

Just returned from my second trip out to Anthony KS to hunt with Salt Plains Outfitters. My experiences there have been memorable and fun! The lodge is incredible- huge roaring fireplace, amazing taxidermy and spacious dining area. The owners, guides, and lodge staff are engaging, friendly and “real”. I love the hunts for sure; but I also love the times out by the campfire, in the new game room shooting pool, or having conversations over appetizers free a successful hunt. I have to add that the brunches that are served after morning hunts are incredible. I love this place.

Our groups have been using Salt Plains Outfitters for the last 4/5 yrs. Great people- great lodge and great food. The hunting is amazing and I'll let the pictures tell the hunting stories. I'm a fan.

Unbelievable experience!!! Went on 3 Waterfowl hunts and 1 pheasant hunt over three days and was incredibly impressed by the professionalism and hospitality at Salt Plains Outfitters. The food was incredible as well! If you want one of best hunting experiences available in North America consider Salt Plains Outfitters!

I’ve hunted waterfowl all over this country and IMO Salt Plains Outfitters is about the best experience I’ve ever had! Not just the hunting but the total package. Everything is first class. The lodge, food, guides, areas hunted all the best. SPO is an experience as much as a hunt.

Shot pheasants in the am and ducks in the afternoon, best day of hunting I have ever had! The chef deserves a raise for her 5 star gourmet meals.
