Lazy T Ranch Adventures

I was recently a Bridesmaid here at Lazy T Ranch. Although yes this was not my purchase and was the bride and grooms I would just like to for warn others of our experience. One thing about this venue is a big take away at the end of the day; Ticks. Over the past few days all of the bridesmaids have been finding ticks on themselves , including me (currently pregnant) and my young son. My son was dressed head to toe so ticks couldn’t get him ,yet we still found one on his back and I have found over 6 on myself. If you are going to book here take precautions! Yes it’s a field so I should have known better ,but it would’ve helped if we had a heads up as well to be prepared for the INFESTATION of ticks. It wasn’t a few but a whole field of them. Absolutely ridiculous. Now let’s talk food , the food LOOKED ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Especially the Mac n cheese in my opinion , but when you go to take a bite it tasted like wet noodles even though it looked so cheesy. There is no flavors in any of the food . I will say the one thing i enjoyed was the rolls and the mashed potato’s and gravy, but then again it’s mashed potato’s and gravy. The chicken nuggets they served were literally gray and I didn’t even try to make my son eat it because I didn’t even want to eat it. I tried to cut the bbq chicken , that was like cutting a brick. And once again extremely bland . I will also say their lemonade though was really good, but that was about the only positive thing. Let’s talk the Staff. Although I did not meet all of the staff it wasn’t hard to tell who was a part of the staff and who wasn’t since most were wearing the logos on their shirts. The one that had the most problems was the lady who I believe was possibly the owner. She was in charge of music , it delayed the WHOLE CEREMONY which , stuff happens oh well. But she didn’t realize her notifications were on and i guess she forgot she was connected to the speaker still and in the middle of vows she took a picture and the WHOLE CROWD heard her picture. Okay cool accidents happen , you would think she would turn off her notifications after that but no, as they continue their vows her phone starts going off like crazy and it was to the point where the whole crowd couldn’t hear the vows at all because all we could hear was her phone. Now for reception , the reception area is … nice. It gets the job done , but what isn’t nice is that the A/C barely works in there and everybody was dying of heat. Several family members of the bride had to get wet towels put on them because of the heat and lack of AC even though they said it would be cooler the following day after the reception. If you are looking for a venue to host a wedding during the summer time , this place is not the one to do. Do yourself a favor and pick an indoor venue during the summer time and not one that has the ceremony outdoors. My partner and I were looking into this place to host our wedding next year, but that is no longer an option and will be taking it off our list of places due to this experience. Not worth the price.

Chris and Ron gave us absolutely outstanding service for our wedding. They had ordered colors specifically just for our wedding, did the set up and tear down for us. Prepared excellent catering with lots of options to choose from. Our families were amazed at how wonderful their ceremony and reception spots were! Chris and Ron went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. If you’re looking for a venue, look no further. This is the place.

We had our daughter’s second birthday party here with the pony party package. The owner’s hospitality and ranch experience were phenomenal! It was a beautiful party and such a great experience for our little one. Exceptional service.

Highly recommend for your special event love the attention we received from the owners. Service was incredible.the place was very clean and the safety out there was amazing just live the place my family was so happy and felt comfortable at the guests house just felt like home

My husband surprised me with a weekend get away at the ranch. What a beautiful place! Ron and Chris was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Chris made us a wonderful breakfast I was not expecting that . On Sunday I didn't want to leave! We are planning to go back! I would definitely recommend the ranch to anybody! Well worth the trip!
