I’d highly suggest checking this out. My friend and I were first time hunters there last year and it was phenomenal. We met a son and his father we still keep in contact with. The guides were outstanding on putting you on big bucks to harvest. Owner is a phenomenal guy. It was an amazing experience. In all honesty I had witnessed some of the most amazing wildlife action I’ve never thought I’d see. First five minutes in stand I had a shooter cruising in, checked a scrape and he was gone, couldn’t even get my bow up! All I remember saying was “Oh My God”! Next day I had a marginal/possible 140 class 10 pointer I passed on two different days walking/chasing off two and three other 8 pointers on a hot doe. After the first day I told myself I’d never see that again. Mind you this was right below my stand (10-15 yards)Two days later. 30 yards away. It happened again. Snort wheezing, then gouged one of the other bucks into the brush from the side. Just an epic experience. To see my buddy come back every night smiling just to talk about the days hunt we will never forget. Constantly reminiscing every time we see each other.
I had an awesome week at Trophy Buck Outfitters. Brian Jordan (Owner/Guide) and his entire team do all they possibly can to get you on a trophy whitetail. It’s apparent during your stay that Brian wants all of his clients to have a great week and be successful at getting a Trophy. The staff/Guides make sure your comfortable during your stay, eat well, and focus on getting you on a Buck of a Lifetime. The staff and everyone in camp was friendly and everyone has a passion for hunting. I def recommend this outfitter to anyone wanting a chance at some Toads!! I’ll be back next year no doubt !!
Hunted with them a week ago. I've never seen more inept guides. Every stand I hunted was placed in favor of the deer, not the hunter. When I questioned why a stand was facing the wrong way, I was told to stand up and turn around. I was also told it was my fault for not seeing deer, suggesting the deer had seen me before i seen them. Not one stand I was had a shooting lane cut. Of the 15 hunters in camp one might have seen a shooter buck. Most didn't see any size buck. I hunted 5 & 1/2 days and 3 of those days not one deer was seen. Accommodations were lackluster at best. They supplied washcloths and towels but my shop rags are in better shape. Food was plentiful but was bland and tasteless. Many mounted deer heads were in the lodge suggesting great bucks have been killed here. But I overheard the owner saying he bought a lot of them from a taxidermist. My advise is to stay away from this outfitter. Don't waste your time and money.
Trophy buck outfitters did a great job the entire team worked very hard to make sure the entire camp was good to go!! First class from start to finish Thank you!!
I've been to several outfitters over the years... These guys are the best so far. It's nice to have a guide and the owner that truly care if you are successful and have a great time. Great bucks, nice lodge. I'm already booked for 2022! Jade Workman
