Sandy Run Hunt Co

My son and I hunted with Sandy Run Hunt Co and had an absolute blast. Bill is excellent with communication and is an awesome person with great hospitality. We hunted with Travis and his three dogs. He was a Top notch guide who made the day even better than it already was. A ton of birds a ton of laughs and a great place to hunt. We will return. Thanks Bill and Travis for a great day with my son.

Great guest!!!! Wendy & Bill.....were so helpful and great guides on locals places. I highly recommend anyone to stay there. The beds are super comfy whenever in Vandalia, IL. I have stayed here in 2021 & 2022. Super quiet at night !!!

Bill has a very wild-like hunting experience! Lots and lots of cover, and many different spots to hunt. You'll never get bored hunting here I'll promise you that, the Continental Pheasant hunt is one of my favorites. You can use your own dog to do a hunt or schedule to have a guide take you with them using their dogs. He also offers dog training to if your dog needs a pre season refresher or even start from scratch training. And the comradery built is just awesome. Finish the hunt off and eat salami cheese and crackers while they clean the birds.

I've hunted here twice and both times we saw every bird we paid for and then some. Highly recommend giving this place a chance.
