River Valley Pheasant Hunting

Was out here for my first time. Had two different guides over two days, both were great. The dogs were also great. Would definitely come back! Also, the world's friendliest cat hangs out in the main check in area. Must pet.

Best hunting club I've ever been to! Very laid back and it actually feels like a wild upland hunt with a half dozen or so private spots with no other groups near you, and the birds are the fastest flying pen raised birds I've ever hunted in 40 years. Much like wild birds. Family operation and the owners are great people. You won't be disappointed if you try bird hunting at River Valley!

Jason, Dewey and River Valley Hunting is a top notch experience. Talk about having an all around great time and first experience into pheasant hunting, as a local and semi close neighbor to Jason I have never hunted for upland game birds. And can I tell you he delivered from an excellent experience this was nothing short of one of my favorite hunts so far. From learning the land they like to call habitat and home to experience the way the birds react to the dogs, it will most certainly be another hunt I’ll log in the books and continue to come back. These beautiful birds of his are quite beautiful and even better to see in action.

Incredible pheasant hunting! Jason and Dewey made the hunt great. We initially booked for 16 pheasants, but the abundance of extra birds and the unexpected addition of chukars made the outing even better. Highly recommend booking with these guys.

Jason was a great guide it was a wonderful experience excellent hunt guided with his well-trained dog. My son and I are from the city of Chicago and we harvested Pheasants and Chukars. Can't wait to go again! Beautiful land great area near Galena.
