Illinois Connection

I have been to Illinois Connection for 9 straight years straight. I have killed 5 deer in 9 years. 4 with a bow and one with a firearm. The four largest were 150,150,161, 230 inches gross scores. These deer are free range. Although I have had the opportunity to harvest some great whitetails that isn’t what makes this place so great. Thats just a bonus. The knowledge of the guides to give you the opportunity, the fellowship with great people, amazing lodging, amazing food, and an owner in Doug that does everything to make sure you have a great experience is what truly makes this an enjoyable hunt that I repeat annually and have actually added the youth hunt so that my son can experience it. I am convinced you will not find a better whitetail hunting experience. Highly recommend.

I had the enjoyable experience of hunting with Illinois connection on a mid November hunt. Saw lots of deer. I did not kill but had a great trip. Then I returned for an early January bow hunt with my 14 year old daughter , where we saw over 200 deer in 5 days and she passed 2 deer in the 140’s and was blessed to harvest a 168 2/8 buck on the last evening of our hunt. The combination of incredible lodging, staff and properties make this place 2nd to none. Doug does it the right way! Can’t wait to go back!

I had a great trip , the lodge and all of the hunting property is breathtaking. Met lots of great people, the guides , owner , staff and the other hunters that were in camp . Seen deer on every trip . I would definitely do the trip over again and plan to. Top notch in every aspect

Great hunting experience with tens of thousands of acres and perfectly placed stands...giant deer with great kill opportunity. Doug is a great outfitter, staff is friendly with 5 star accommodations and meals. Been going for 9 years now, highly recommended!

Highly recommended! Beautiful accommodations, fantastic hunting, and an experience we will never forget! I took my son for the youth hunt this year and he had a blast!
