We enjoyed hunting with Hadley Creek! Everything was top notch and first class! Mr. Maynard was an awesome camp manager and guide! And all the other guides were great as well! We saw lots of deer and some nice bucks as well didn’t get a shot but passed waiting on a bigger one but they have the deer and the class!! Awesome! We will be back for sure and also the owner Mr. An Mrs. Stacey Ward were very professional and kind. All the lodges were first class and food was wonderful ! Thanks again, Tyler Guy Macon, Ms. Back in 2024 and same treatment! Saw a ton of deer and this time with the help of Mr. Bruce who was an awesome guide I took a nice buck with my crossbow! Thanks again Hadley Creek who made our trip well worth it!

I had a great time at Hadley Creek. Maynard was our lodge manager and our guide the first day. He was great and very knowledgeable. He saved our butts the first day by finding us some heaters for the blind. It was below zero degrees with the windchill. By far my favorite guide was Gingi. He showed me pictures of the bucks on the farm. He told me what direction I should see them. After I shot a buck we had some time to talk. We talked about where we grew up. He made me feel like we’ve been friends forever. Hadley Creek made you feel like family but especially Gingi.

I'll start with the lodging and food was decent. (Didn't book this trip for 5 star meals so dont really care about that). Me my brother and my dad have been hunting our own private land in MI for 25+ years with our biggest buck checking in at 129 inches which is why we decided to try this IL hunt in the infamous pike county. We chose first gun after Stacy told me and my dad on separate occasions that your chances for a shot opportunity on a 140 inch buck are near 100%. I get that it's fair chase but he made it sound like 140 inch bucks were everywhere! We got some good weather (cold front) so you can't really use that as an excuse. 3 days sitting dark to dark and the 3 of us never even seen a 140 inch deer let alone have a shot at one. 1 buck in my camp was shot and scored 142 inches. After talking with the other people in my camp, they weren't seeing anything over 120-130 either. My personal opinion is that this place is way to busy and runs way to many hunters through its farms. Either the big bucks are shot during early bow or rut or they're pressured so much that they just disappear like old bucks do. Guides were all awesome. Nothing bad to say about them but they can't put you on something that isn't there.

Enjoyed our 5 day hunt at Hadley Creek. Saw a lot of big deer, just didn't have one close enough to take a shot at. If you have an opportunity to come hunt with Hadley Creek be sure to ask for Jeremy as your guide. His knows his farm like the back of his hand and he'll put you on big deer.

Start off by saying lodge was nice, guides friendly, food is catered in and ok. This is an expensive hunt so just trying to help people that are saving up for a pricey hunt. We had 11 people at our lodge, plenty of room no problem there. But out of 11 people 1 person seen and shot a 142” deer. We went for the second gun hunt which they consider a rut hunt, seen very little rut action but they have you sit all day. Make sandwiches at camp and take to stand with you. I did see a pile of deer and so did the group I was with, they run a lot of people thru and just seems so commercialized. We won’t be back , never even asked if we were or contacted by anyone after we left.
