Backwooods Whitetails Outfitters

On my most recent visit to Backwoods Whitetail Outfitters the week of October 25 , through 31st. I was greeted with the utmost respect and enthusiasm from Brett Homer , his wife Bridget and their son Nathan. The social atmosphere was respectful, and humorous to say the least . The meals prepared by Bridget were delicious, stellar and on par with gourmet!!! Above all , Brett is incredibly talented, knowledgeable and truly a personal friend. I could go on and on . That said, it is not about the trophy . Hunting for learning and learning to hunt is what the experience should for anyone willing to make this journey. Respectfully, Richie Pugliese

Brett and Bridget are great people. My father and I have been going for two years now with a third planned for this fall, and had amazing hunts and opportunities each time. I’m pretty sure they’ve forgotten more than I’ll ever learn about deer, and their patience with people and knowledge of the properties is amazing. You get treated like family more than customers at BWO, I’d recommend booking a hunt to anyone.

Brett and Bridget are amazing host. I've been hunting for 44 yrs and I still learn something new everytime I hunt with BWO. Brett goes out of his way to help make your hunt successful. I will be returning for 3rd straight year. I have yet to bag what I want to shoot, but I have had opportunities, that's on me. I will say this Bridget is one hell of a cook, if you go hungry that's your fault. BWO works 365 days a year and put in tons of hours to make your hunt successful and make sure your trip is one of the best ever. The only thing I can say is 5 stars isn't enough, that deserve a 10!! I've been hunting with Backwoods Whitetails since 2007 off and on a total of 4 times, truly always a awesome hunt! They always make you feel like family ! You will have some of the best home cooked meals. And you will see big deer
