Such an incredible place to grow into your horsemanship skills. All the wranglers, kitchen staff, and other staff are so kind that you truly feel like a part of the ranch family. They offer so many activities for all ages and personalities, and the wranglers are so accommodating to your riding requests. Best guest ranch ever!!

I would not be writing this review had the owners acknowledged the below requested feedback after my weeklong stay, but I think it’s important to inform others of my concerns, since their lack of communication indicates, not taking accountability. Eleven months ago, when I contacted the Ranch Owner, requesting the dates of their “Adult Only Weeks” in Fall of 2025, I was told that they started on August 23rd. Since “Adult Only” was desired, my friend and I immediately booked our weeklong stay for this date. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a family with three children, also booked for this week and the mention of this before our arrival was never brought forth. I am unsure if the owners did not consider the importance of our request, but by sharing, I am hoping that other guests will be aware that requests of specifically advertised weeks, may be forgotten or ignored. Another item of concern was during the cattle drive at the end of the week, my horse became very unhappy; displaying rearing, bucking and spinning, which are behaviors of great concern for any rider, experience of not. Afterwards, I was told by a seasoned Wrangler that they had never seen this horse on their cattle drives before. Just to clarify, I have years of formal riding and ranch vacation experience and know the potential dangers of this behavior. I strongly believe, it is the ranch owner’s responsibility to ensure all guest horses are desensitized to cattle before a guest receives that assigned horse. Thankfully, I was not hurt and for both the horse and riders’ safety, I hope time is taken to train each horse to help ensure they are prepared for each situation that is presented throughout the week.

My wife and I took our family for a family reunion two years in a row. Best experiences a person/family could have! No change in the level of satisfaction between visits. Great Place, Great People, Great Time!

Janice and to all the team, family, wranglers, cooks, everyone, thank you! This place is incredible, feels truely like home. The team shares with you their experience and guides you to new skills and to a new rythm. The beauty of the place and of the horses are breathtaking. The food is amazing too. As we say in french, « un joyau » (a treasure) Thanks and I hope to come to visit soon again 🙏

I scheduled a horse ride for my Boyfriend and his sister who was in town visiting. They were both raised around horses and neither had ridden in years. The drive alone to the ranch is beautiful. Such a great layout and facilities. There guide was great. Very friendly and informative. She checked all equipment then made sure the saddles were set properly for each of them. Although both had ridden before, it had been a while and they welcomed the instruction and her check list before heading out. I was super impressed and can’t wait to go myself. Over 1000 acres of some of the most beautiful land in North Idaho. I want to make a weekend of it and stay in their beautiful lodge. OH and don’t forget Dally! The sweetest dog I’ve ever met.
