Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch

An absolutely incredible trip all around. The service was top notch, the food was beyond our expectations (with alterations without judgement), and our room in the lodge was clean, comfy, and atmospheric! Bring a cozy sweatshirt and some warm slippers and snuggle in on the front porch to read a book while the sun rises. Absolute highlight of the trip!

We came to Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch in late August. I really didnt know what to expect because I had never been to Idaho before. What a place! Its beautiful, remote and quiet. The dinners are amazing, so delicious, fresh food. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The kids really enjoyed fishing in the pond, white water rafting, horse back riding, swimming in the hot springs pool and mountain biking There are also multiple hiking trails of course. I will add that if you have kids bring meds or ear drops for swimmers ear or whatever they might need because there is no pharmacy. There is laundry on site and we should have packed lighter. Its very casual. Spent most days in active wear, workout clothes. Great place to go to experience the outdoors, beautiful scenery and extremely friendly people.

My husband and I stayed here in September and had the most incredible time. We flew in Chicago and were able to relax and reconnect with nature instantly. I can’t justify the beauty of the property with words - the hot springs pool overlooking mountains and grazing horses, the Salmon river and wildflowers surrounding it, and the ranch itself. Just breathtaking! And the FOOD - holy wow. We cook and go out to nice restaurants in the city a lot and loved every single meal. Our only regret was not spending more time here.

The Rocky Mountain Ranch is wonderful, and so magical! I loved the fact that the pickleball and hot springs pool is a bit away from the lodging, to preserve the quiet nature of the residences. The food is wonderful, and the service is great also. I thought it was really cool that you pre-order your lunch and can pick it up at any time the next day. Many guests were leaving for the day very early for adventures, and having a tasty lunch ready for you to pick up on your way out is a fantastic idea! Keep in mind that this is Stanley Idaho, and not Sun Valley. The cabins are wonderfully rustic, with large fireplaces in every one - so relaxing and romantic! Highly recommend!

We had an exceptional stay at the ranch with our family! Our experience at the ranch greatly exceeded our expectations. The stellar five star staff made our stay all that more special. Among the breathtaking views, plentiful activities on and off the ranch, there is a staff like no other at the Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch. In addition to providing top-notch service and hospitality, the ranch also took our food allergies with complete care. We had complete faith that the kitchen and staff handled our meals with the upmost care and allergy awareness. The clear communication between the kitchen servers, and us was incredibly helpful, and it made us feel even more comfortable. It is rare to find such a level of care and accommodation for food allergies, and we are immensely thankful to the entire staff for the meticulous attention to our needs. Moreover, the food quality and taste are absolutely top-notch! I would highly recommend Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch for a memorable And extraordinary experience.
