We hunted with Kalima and had an excellent time. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the the quarry we were pursuing. He tailored the hunt to meet our expectations and was able to put us on game quickly and efficiently. We were on the Big Island for a week, hunted with Kalima for one day, and this was the highlight of our trip. AAAA+++++

Booked a hunt with Nahele Outfitters for a Spanish Goat while I was on the Big Island. Super easy to work with and Kalima was the man. Got an absolute beauty of a goat and had an amazing time, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good experience hunting while on the Big Island.

Hunted goats on the Big Island of Hawaii, was able to book on short notice and saw so many animals! Great communications, excellent guide, goat down before the sun was over the mountain. Nahele Outfitters provided me with a dead-on rifle, ammunition and the opportunity to get an old, mature billy at reasonable shot distance (~140yds). Already planning the next adventure!

Had a great billy hunt smoked a monster! The guide was super helpful and knowledgeable about the area! And I will be booking another trip in the future!!! I would highly recommend jahh as a guide! Fishing or hunting! A+. Can't wait to come back for a marlin trip!

Went for archery Goat hunt and got a rifle hunt! Let me start by saying this hunt ended with an unrecovered animal to no fault of the guide. Communication with outfitter started well. However after making the deposit, getting connected with them on what items to bring or needed for my hunt was a challenge. Don't bother FB messaging no one actually responds. After several attempts I finally got a response via text. The most communication came the night before my hunt. I received a text with a drop point and a name of guide. Except the original plan was for them to pick me up from condo. Lack of communication between outfitter and guide was obvious as the guide didn't know what animal I was hunting for. Guide picked me up the next morning and didn't even know I was archery hunting. The location and Game was beautiful. Several animals with 1 particular large Billy in a herd of 20-30 goats. The challenge, guide had me set up with closest shot for archery 60 - 100 yards. Goats came in at 170 yards with no chance of attempting archery. Hence It became a rifle hunt. Shooting a gun I have never held, fired or used before. 1st shot hit but not down. 2nd shot animal ran 10yrds over edge. We both thought he was down on back side of edge. The guide and myself looked all over. He was willing to continue looking after we both were at a loss for where the animal could have gone. I would hunt with this group again. I would bring my own rifles and or plan in more detail/ ask more questions in planning an archery hunt. There was a lot of miscommunication between myself/ outfitter and guide. An unsuccessful hunt is still a great enjoyment and an amazing way to experience the island!
