Hawaii Safaris

I hunted turkeys on Hawai’i Island, and these guys were exceptional. Very professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. My guide, Mat, was top notch - we were done in about 90 minutes. I highly recommend Hawai’i Safaris.

Experienced, professional, knowlegable guide Glen Santos made this trip of a life time worth every penny flying from New Jersey to Maui for the Buck Axis hunt!!! First guide I had that took the time to ask questions on the physical nature of the hunt you wanted and what size game your looking for BEFORE we started the hunt. We saw over 100 deer and I took my trophy with his 7mm-08 Reminton, which was spot on. Glen can size up antlers and put you in postion to take your animal. Glen was excellent in using deer calls as well. If you want a 5 star hunt, I would highly recommend Hawaii Safaris, and ask that your guide is Glen!!!!!

Wow, this was a hunt of a lifetime. Definitely a bucket list hunt. I had a fun experience and very quick. Just the way I like it. I had a wonderful time with Patrick and he is a great local guide. He has great knowledge on the habits of the axis deer and knows where to look. We saw plenty of animals and I was waiting for a good sized animal. Patrick is very responsive if you have questions and has good recommendations on where to stay. He is also a local so he gave us some good tips on where to check out local things to do. We also saw turtles and other wildlife. I would highly recommend these guys and check them out.

Pat and his Son Chaz were a pleasure to deal with while on our vacation in Maui. They guided My girlfriend and I on our first Hunt and it was an amazing experience to say the least. Chaz (his son) was very helpful during our guide to help point out thinks that we needed to do that we wouldn’t have known without prior experience. Never once did we feel out of place or awkward (first time hunting) and they made us feel like family. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with making sure we got all our our deer meat and antlers home. We look forward to hunting again with H.S. during our next vacation to the island.

Had a recent deer hunt with guide Jeremy through Hawaii Safariis. So much fun! Jeremy was so knowledgeable and accommodating. If you haven’t heard already, Axis deer is delicious beyond belief til you try it. Highly recommend!
