Go Hawaii Outfitters made the ability to hunt in Molokai a reality and a fantastic experience for my son and me. Jordan remained in regular communication and provided all information to plan and coordinate our trip. He paired us with two awesome guides, Ku and Ames. While the black buck proved a bit more elusive to get an opportunity with my bow in the limited time, the axis hunting was incredible. We were on game from first to last light, and enjoyed the camaraderie with our guides. Upon getting game down, both Ku and Ames made quick work of ensuring everything was broken down and packed out to preserve the exceptional game meat. They coordinated shipment to get everything back with 2 day air so there was no loss of meat. I’ve been fortunate to hunt in several Western states in the mainland, and each time out has its own memories and stories…being able to hunt with my son in HI and experience the land in a way most never will, is beyond words.

As I sit at the Molokai airport reflecting on the last four days, I’m filled with gratitude and awe after an unforgettable experience with the team at Go Hawaii. From the moment we arrived on this beautiful, remote island, every aspect of our hunting trip was thoughtfully planned, professionally executed, and delivered with true Hawaiian hospitality. From the beginning, Jordan was incredibly helpful with coordinating all the logistics. He was a prompt, courteous, and highly organized communicator—always available to answer questions and provide detailed guidance, which made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Traveling to a remote island like Molokai can have its complexities, but Jordan made it feel effortless. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and quickly settled into a well-prepared camp that ran like a well-oiled machine thanks to Ku. It was clear that Ku had everything under control, and his attention to detail and behind-the-scenes leadership ensured that we were always comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. His hospitality set the tone for the entire experience. But the highlight of our journey—and truly what made this trip extraordinary—was our guide, Ames. I can say without hesitation that Ames is the best guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of hunting with. His knowledge of the land, wildlife, and most importantly, the Molokai culture, added a depth and richness to our time on the island that went far beyond the hunt itself. Ames didn’t just guide us—he shared stories, traditions, and values that gave my son and me a deeper appreciation for this special place and its people. Together, my son and I made memories that will last a lifetime. We didn’t just leave with successful hunts; we left with a connection to the island, its culture, and a genuine respect for those who call it home. It’s rare to walk away from a trip feeling both fulfilled and inspired—but that’s exactly how we feel. To the entire crew at Go Hawaii—thank you for an incredible experience from start to finish. This was more than just a hunting trip. It was a life experience, one that my son and I will treasure forever. Jordan, his family and Guide Ku were fantastic! They all made us feel like family and gave my son and me a truly awesome experience to remember for a lifetime! We seen more deer in two days then we see in a season in the Midwest. I’m guessing over a 1000 animal’s, it was truly incredible. It’s a must do if your a hunter and in the aria! We checked with a few guides. Jordan’s price was very fair, they did not nickel and dime us, there reputation proceeded them. We will hands down be back. Mahalo, guys and thanks again for everything! Awesome first-time hunting trip with the Go Hawaii crew and Ku as guide! Highly recommend 💯💯💯. Definitely need more hunters over here, highly recommend hunters harvest 3 or more does for every buck. It’s a borderline ecological disaster on Molokai right now, but that can change if more people step up to the plate. Cheap shipping of meat for Oahu residents via Kamaka Air. Go Hawaii will pick you up at airport, take you to grocery store, then off to hunt! Ku has rustic but awesome lodging and will help you with shipping your meat home. Ku is super friendly, easygoing and highly experienced, do what he says and you’ll definitely get deer!

The best guide service in Hawaii. These guys took care of us and the hunting was phenomenal. Great guides with tons of knowledge of the deer and land. Some of the most down to earth people you’ll meet.
