Really amazing time at Georgia Safari. We spent one night in the giraffe suite and spent another night in a 2 bedroom tent. Everything was nice and clean and loved the decor. It’s such an amazing experience and less than hour from Atlanta. A few things to know: There isn’t anything on the property so you will need to pack games and stuff. There also isn’t anywhere to really walk around and explore. So we spent our time either in our room or back in the downtown Madison area. There seems to be a lot of confusion between the various teams and even another person in our your group stated that some of the information she was provided did not match. Everyone was super nice though and also anytime there was an issue, they got it taken care of. I would opt for the upgraded your that takes you behind the scenes and allows you to feed the giraffes because the reg safari has limited animals to see. You can see most of them from driving around or from the balcony of your tent. Now waking up and being able to sit out on your balcony and watch the animals literally in your backyard is really cool. They are still building and growing and would love to come back again in a year or 2. If you can swing it, spend a night in the giraffe suite
This was an enjoyable experience. We have been driving by the sign that said coming soon for the better part of a decade. It was great to finally be able to xome and visit. We were not disappointed. We went on a guided tour and our tour guide Elise was excellent and the sriver Sabrina avoided most of the pot holes. 10/10 experience. We are hoping to go back and stay a night or two with the animals. I would recommend to anyone who likes animals to go and check this place out.
We visited for two nights for Labor Day weekend. We decided that the safari tents would be the best option as a family of 4. We had an amazing time, from start to finish! We couldn’t check in until about 3:30 PM, so we decided to spend some time in the little town of Madison. It’s a very cutesy town with a lot of history. Check in to the safari tents were incredibly easy and the staff was helpful. The tent itself was beautiful- everything was clean, the beds are comfy, and having animals wander around within view is a dream. We did the safari on day 2. Tyler and Jamie were our guides, and they were both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful to all different needs in the group. They also did an amazing job explaining how they acquired the animals, what their future holds, and how they care for them. Hope to come back soon and maybe try the giraffe suites!
Amazing!!!! My wife and I took our granddaughters for an overnight stay in one of the large tents and we were totally amazed. The tents are excellent, very professionally designed, just like "Out Of Africa" The staff are professional and attentive. The animal tours are 1st class and very informative. I cannot praise this operation enough. The people behind this endeavor deserve to be 100% successful and I hope they are. We will visit more as they continue to develop the park. My wife and I spent time in Africa and this is very authentic. Please Visit. You will NOT be disappointed.
Our stay here at the park was fantastic! We stayed in a 2 bedroom tent overnight. The tent was well clean, offered great WiFi for any business and the view on the back porch was amazing! It overlooked a pasture where Emu’s, Zebra’s Ostrich’s and more roamed free. We also did the Sunset Pasture Tour, and saw many animals roaming the 500+ acre field. Big shout outs to the polite and friendly staff! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.
