Smoakhouse Ranch

As always this place is wonderful. The cabin is a nice retreat from the busy hustle and bustle of the city. Brittany was a fantastic hostess and made sure we had treats to give the farm animals and anything else we needed. We had a great campfife going and was able to just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the country. If you are looking for a getaway to just relax and unwind this is the place to go!!! We will be back again for sure!

I love the Smokehouse ranch. It's absolutely beautiful and the hostess and her dad were so accommodating. She brought us a bucket of food to feed the animals, she brought us firewood, the property is breathtaking! If you want a getaway in the country far away from all your worries I highly suggest this place! The towns people are so nice. There wasn't a unfriendly soul around. We stayed in cabin 2 ,it's small if you have a bigger crowd get one of the other units.

We stayed at the Smoakhouse Labor Day weekend and even though our stay was cut short by Hurricane Dorian, we had a fabulous time. It was quiet, peaceful, and the animals were wonderful to interact with - especially Sir Don K (the donkey - he was the sweetest). I wanted someplace where I could decompress, relax, and get away from everything and this was it. We went into the town for dinner and the food was very good as well as the prices. I loved it and would definitely go back. Refrigerator was stocked and Debbie made sure to find out if we needed anything replaced or added. She was wonderful. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Our family stayed about half a week ago and it was a great experience. She came and changed our beds while we were gone without even having to ask her. She also filled up our fridge with fresh eggs and food. We would definitely stay again next time were in Florida.

We rented the Earl cabin and were excited to have our animals with us during social distancing but we left shortly after arriving. Air wasn't working downstairs, and was very dusty and dirty needed a good cleaning ESPECIALLY during COVID-19! No cell service for miles incase of emergency. I left Debbie a message and when she called me we were already home. Thankfully we weren't charged but the 5 hour round trip drive with dogs and kids was a bit much. Wish it was better because it would've been perfect, but not for us.
