Coulter Lake Guest Ranch

We had an awesome time on a one hour trail ride. The wranglers were very kind to our two kids and allowed them to be a part of the whole experience from getting the horses ready to the ride itself. They even accommodated a last minute rider. We would 100% come back. Beautiful aspen and pine forests.

We had a family reunion here and it was amazing! The hosts are incredibly hospitable and very accommodating. Beautiful views, rustic cabins, and great hiking spots within short walking distance from the cabins. Got to go on my own private horse back ride thru some meadows and small trails. Highly recommend!

Spent a wonderful anniversary weekend at the ranch. Such a beautiful and peaceful retreat filled with hummingbirds zooming around, horseback trail rides in the national forest, canoeing and fishing on the lake, and evening fires with a treat of s’mores to close out the day. We slept great in the historic cabins with the stream’s sound lulling us to sleep. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning with our family to share this amazing place.

Had the opportunity to visit and spend 4 days and 3 nights with the fantastic people who run this ranch. Barb, Randy, and Hector are the epitome of customer service. When you spend time here you have an early 1900 cabin to sleep in and go over to the main lodge for all your meals where Hector cooks fresh home cooked meals (you will not go hungry). During the summer they will ready the hourses for a back country mountain side trail ride. You can take the canoe, the peddle boats, or row boats out on the lake for and excellent trout fishing. This week was a great time for me, my wife, and my 17 year old son. In the winter months they have snowmobiles to use for the guests. Last you have 100s of miles of hiking. They will also help you out during all of the different hunting seasons. The bang for the buck is in the details. All of the above and more are covered under your stay fees. We stayed in August of 2019 and would do again in a heart beat. Call them and book your stay.

We, a family of 5, had a great time at the ranch, horseback riding, fishing and enjoying the surroundings and delicious food. Thanks Kelly and Forrest and crew for the wonderful hospitality we experienced!
