C Lazy U Ranch

Our family had an unforgettable stay at C Lazy U! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the entire team, from the incredible wranglers to the friendly F&B staff and attentive management, made us feel right at home. The horseback riding was truly world-class, with beautiful trails, well-cared-for horses, and wranglers who clearly love what they do and are passionate about sharing their knowledge. The ranch’s mission to preserve Western traditions while delivering an exceptional guest experience shines through in every detail. Both adults and kids had an amazing time, whether it was riding, enjoying delicious meals, or simply soaking in the breathtaking scenery. C Lazy U is a place where families connect, adventure is around every corner, and memories are made to last a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed at the ranch during an adults only week. This was our first time at a dude ranch and we loved it. Staff were all great. We had a cabin with a fireplace and since it was fall we had a fire every evening. We plan to go back.

Disappointing Experience – Please Read Before Booking I booked a stay at C Lazy U Ranch to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday — what was meant to be a joyful and memorable occasion for our family. Sadly, shortly after booking, my wife was diagnosed with cancer, and we were forced to cancel our plans to focus on her treatment. I reached out to the team at C Lazy U Ranch multiple times, explaining our heartbreaking situation and kindly requesting a refund or a credit for future use of our initial deposit. Despite our circumstances, the response was consistent and unyielding: “company policy” — no refund, no credit, just “sorry.” We lost our initial deposit completely. I understand businesses have policies, but compassion should count for something, especially in serious and unforeseen health emergencies. I even provided medical records for proof. Unfortunately, we received no compassion. If you’re considering booking here, I strongly urge you to read all policies thoroughly and invest in private travel insurance. This place may be beautiful, but in our experience, it lacked basic empathy and flexibility when it mattered most. We’re deeply disappointed and hope this review helps others make an informed decision. From our standpoint, we won’t be booking here again.

Recently stayed here for a few days with a company sponsored retreat. Everything you read online about the C Lazy U Ranch is accurate & correct. The activities are well guided and staffed. The spa is first class. The food is absolutely amazing. And just the general atmosphere is one of relaxation and enjoyment. There is literally something for everybody. If you ever get the opportunity to go here, do it.

This week was nothing short of magical. We had a memorable experience we will not soon forget. From the time we walked up to the time we drove away (crying because we were so sad to leave) everything was 5 star. The food was amazing, chef Robin was amazing at ensuring everything we needed was there. William and Keagan were fantastic at the bar, and the wrangler staff was amazing as well. Amanda, Lawerence, Ky, Abby, and Isaiah were incredible. We made new friendships that will last a lifetime and already have flights booked to visit our new family we met there! There is not one thing i would change about the ranch (with the exception of one really rude and obnoxious guest that was negative and ugly to the staff and other guests all week) and we are already booked up for next year!!
