American Safari Ranch

We had a wonderful experience recently at American Safari Ranch. The facilities themselves are rustic and what one would expect at a horse ranch (not a dude ranch!) The horses were well trained and well matched to us. Luke and Billy, our guides, were very experienced and patient and made the 90 minute ride extremely enjoyable. Being able to ride side by side as opposed to nose to tail made the ride even better. We highly recommend American Safari Ranch!

We did the 2 hour horseback ride as beginners, with Luke! He was an amazing guide who was very personable and patient! The views were absolutely incredible! Horses were very well mannered! Unique experience! Would recommend 100% to anyone!!!

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience with a 2 hour ride at American Safari Ranch! Lucas and Jen were amazing guides! Super friendly and really focused on teaching us how to properly ride and lead our horses. The horses were so sweet and absolutely beautiful! It was just the two of us with our guides and we rode side by side instead of nose to tail most of the time. Such a different experience than we've had on other trail rides. It was a blast! Great conversations with our guides while enjoying the breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. It will be a lifelong memory for both of us! Would love to return again!

We went here for the horseback riding. Gary was super helpful Roxy was our guide for a 2hr ride. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience I highly recommend. The horseback riding is side by side rather than in a line which was very fun. I hadn't been riding in more than 30 yrs but had full confidence with Roxy and the other wranglers

Our family of 6 did a two hour ride. Booking was easy over the phone. We found the location easily and it was a fun place to look around. Gary got us checked in, was clear in the rules and recommendations on what to take and what to leave in the car. We had a couple of really nervous riders and everyone was great in giving encouragement and confidence. We had Phoenix, Alaska, Turtle, Panda, Mustang and Trigger as our horses. It was fun to see the different personalities. Luke and Newt were our guides and they were amazing. They kept the conversation going, taking an interest in us, while also teaching us a little bit about the area. Luke was also tuned in on where to take good pictures. Our group ranged in ages 12-48, it was a great time and we hope to do it again.
