A Perfect Escape into Nature We recently stayed at Calamigos Ranch for a few days with family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature and old ranch equipment that adds a nostalgic charm. Each morning, we enjoyed peaceful walks around the resort, immersing ourselves in the serene landscape. The breakfast was great, and the dinners were fantastic, offering a delightful culinary experience. We loved that the reception provided infused water, coffee, and tea throughout the day, making it easy to relax and refresh. Another highlight was the short drive to the private beach club, which gave us the best of both worlds—tranquil nature at the ranch and ocean views at the beach. Even with hot weather, the area around the villas stayed surprisingly cool, making the stay even more comfortable. We appreciated the welcome wine and complimentary snacks upon arrival, and to our delight, complimentary snacks were also available daily. In the afternoon, we were treated to delicious cookies with milk—such a cozy and thoughtful touch. Fresh fruits were also provided every day, adding to the overall care and comfort. Calamigos Ranch is perfect for anyone seeking a quiet retreat and a chance to disconnect from the busyness of life. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

We got married here in December 2021. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. They were able to swap our venue in a day's notice due to rain on our outdoor wedding. The wedding venues are very magical and could not have been more perfect. The only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars is because their website for their hotel rooms is very very misleading. We rented the 2 bedroom suite so that we can get ready there for the day of our wedding. If you look at the pictures it should be enough to cater to at least 12 people in there since our wedding party is very small (2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen). To our surprise we got a suite that could not have been more than 700sq feet. The common room, which was supposedly out getting ready room was no more than 200 sqft. If you look at the pictures on their website the room is massive. It was very disappointing but we didn't want to let that ruin our special. Also the rooms were not cheap, they didn't even give us a discount since we're renting their wedding venue. The room was $2500++, which was worth no more than $1500.

I left a pair of heels in the room. 100% positive it was under the bed.called in straight after however the Hotel said it was not where to be found. I’m certain they took the shoes themselves or one of three members. It was $1300 heels my fault that I left there. But shame on the dishonest this hotel staff are. And the service was really bad. They never called back to check and was pretty rude about it… I said it was under the bed 100%.. the person on the phone was just like ‘OK’ well be aware of this place

We had such an amazing weekend surprise vacation.My Fiancé proposed at Calamigos Ranch with the help of the surprise proposal by Kurt. Kurt was truly so amazing with helping coordinate our surprise proposal and all of our vacation stay needs. Thank you again Kurt for all of your help and making this weekend so memorable for us. You truly went above and beyond for us.We will forever remember this stay.We will definitely be returning for our future vacations at Calamigos Ranch and hopefully for our wedding day!
