Robbins Butte was nice first time there been wanting to go for the past few years dove hunting at this location, went out there and had a blast didn't know what to expect from the area, everyone was professional hunters lol really everyone had their all their gear on except for me fake birds out everyone had their spot if you're not hunting Or riding around with your 4 x 4 4 wheel drive I wouldn't suggest coming here sorry and camping there seems like there is an area on the other side where you can camp I mean you can park your RV travel trailer or whatever you got to sleep in.
Good area to see raptors and other birds, but timing is everything. One of the gates to compete the loop road was closed so I was t able to survey the whole area.
Decent spot for birding and wildlife photography - there were a few small bodies of water nearby the entrance with a handful of bird species. Unfortunately, both days I went at 6:30am there were loud machines running around moving land and scaring them off.
14 day camping on the blm land was beautiful and quiet. Plenty of spaces to enjoy nature. The road coming in is a little rough but we had no problem going in with a 30' travel trailer. Just drive slow and you'll be fine
Road in is wash board and goes through samdy wash. We made it with Vlass C and tow just fine. Plenty of space.
