I visited Kenai Riverside Lodge with my dad and two brothers to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. We wanted to do something special but honestly weren’t sure what to expect. The trip ended up being absolutely phenomenal. Everything ran so smoothly—travel and transportation were perfectly organized each day, which made things stress-free. The dinners at the lodge were a pleasant surprise, truly excellent every night. We stayed in the Moose Cabin (highly recommend the upgrade!) and it was fantastic—comfortable, private, and just added to the whole experience. The fishing was perfectly timed for the season, and we were lucky enough to head home with 25 pounds each of professionally packed salmon. Such a great bonus on top of an already amazing trip. Overall, Kenai Riverside Lodge was outstanding. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable fishing trip or a special way to celebrate with family and friends.
My son and I took a 1st time trip to Alaska and chose Kenai riverfront lodge and we were not disappointed. Our lodge was in sight of the Kenai. The food was amazing, my hats off to the chef and the staff presenting and their attentiveness. All my expectations from bringing home salmon to relaxing were met. I will be back with family for sure.
river raft excursion is great. Our guide Kevin, was knowledgeable and informative. He was also very entertaining and provided us with a gourmet lunch that he set up on the bank of the river. The wildlife we encountered and the views of the land made an even more memorable experience. This excursion gave us something that we could never have gotten from a cruise or tour bus. Well worth the money
One of our most favorite vacations. Photos don’t do this place justice. The family style meals and firepit mean that you actually get to know all of the other guests on site, and we met so many wonderful people as a result. Many people return here year after year. The staff is kind, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The owner and company were respectful of the land and its Alaska Native history, and treated their employees well. We went for a 10mi hike up Resurrection Pass and did a float trip in our 4-day visit. The weather was unusually warm and sunny the entire time! The food is SO GOOD. We can’t wait to come back.
I don't know how anyone could not give a 5 star rating. The staff was very professional and courteous from front desk, to kitchen, to the fishing guides. They handle everything from the time the time you arrive until their shuttle drops you back off at the hotel/airport. They do offer many active other than fishing but we went there to fish the Kenai river for trout and salmon. The fishing guides are very knowledgeable and professionally regardless of your skill level. We are more advanced fly fishers and they were able to meet our requests, their gear is quality from waders(Simms) to name brand fly rods and reels with lines and leaders in good working order. If you come to fish for salmon during the salmon runs they will clean, prepare, vacuum seal, and freeze your fish and box it for shipping home with you. They also provide you with the best breakfast buffet you will ever have, exceptional pack lunch, and gourmet 5 course dinners that are truly mouth watering. Seriously it was the best food of our entire vacation. 6 out of 5 stars we can't wait to go back. Special thanks to our fishing guides, Madison, Rob, and Matt!
